Capt. Schirmer Boosts AAs at Turning Point

Things didn’t start out perfectly on the field for the Men’s Collegiate All Americans, as they fell behind 12-0 early against Darling Downs, but that was just a chance for the leadership to come through.

And central to that was captain Aladdin Schirmer.

CWU Tags Thornley for Head Coach Job

Ellensburg, Wash. (CWU Release) - Central Washington University Director of Athletics, Dennis Francois, has announced the hiring of Todd Thornley as the Wildcats’ new men’s rugby coach.

"Todd's level of familiarity with our program and the University, as well as his commitment to recruit and develop the holistic student-athlete stood out in his candidacy,” Francois said.

Central Washington Coaching Job Open to Applicants

Central Washington University has posted the job description for the currently-vacant position of Men's Rugby Head Coach.

Previous Head Coach Tony Pacheco left the program in May, and the team was run by graduate assistant Todd Thornley at the recent USA Rugby College 7s Championships.
