GRR: Dominic Lindstrom
Central Washington University won the team's eight-straight NCRC 7s last week, and did so without allowing a point, and with the young talent they have, it's unlikely the Wildcats will drop off anytime soon.
Central Washington University won the Northwest Collegiate Rugby Conference (NCRC) 7s championship for the 5th year in a row Sunday, defeating Western Washington 50-7 in the final. Cameron Marek scored three tries in the final, while Aladdin Schirmer claimed four on the second day of competition.
The Washington Loggers rode some excellent team play to victory in the Boys bracket of the Serevi Cup 7s tournament Saturday. Led by an MVP performance from Dominic Lindstrom, the Loggers beat the Northwest Nomads 47-7, Oregon II 21-7, and Eastside 52-7 to win their pool. That set up a semifinal with Oregon II, which they won comfortably.
