The University of Washington Huskies continued their winning ways in the Northwest Collegiate Rugby Conference, defeating Western Oregon this past weekend to move to 3-0.
UW sits one standings point behind Central Washington, also 3-0 but with bonus points in all three wins. These two teams seem to be on a collision course, but first UW will have to get by Oregon, who were 12-7 winners over Washington State over the weekend, moving them to 2-1.
Boise State got on the winning side for the first time all season, getting tries from Devin Guy and Nico Lutu, and 15 points in tries and kicks from Austin Jones, as BSU beat Eastern Washington 25-18.
The NCRC is still wide open, especially as Central Washington will not be in the NCRC playoffs. That puts the race for the 4th playoff spot (5th in the conference) in play for just about everybody.
