New Book on Rugby in America Hits Shelves
A new book is now out celebrating the culture of rugby.
Written by Adam Hughes and available for sale here>>, This is Rugby is the story of how rugby has spread all over the United States and become part of communities throughout the nation.
Hughes interviewed social players, internationals, prominent former rugby players who have gone on to great things in other parts of their lives, and people who just love the game.
As the book description says:
"his book is a love letter to rugby, a repository for the community's stories, and a study in diversity, inclusivity, and competition. This book is about how we interact with each other and how one collision sport can teach us about peace and harmony. This book is about the women and men who struggle, love, fight, and overcome. It's a book that goes beyond the pitch and reveals lessons about living in a society with respect and civility."
Author Adam Hughes has been a player, coach, and administrator in rugby in the USA for years, and is current a professor of English living in Virginia. This is his first work of non-fiction, and a special and very personal project.
