While the top group is fairly static at present, the teams that are playing this winter are moving up, and we will likely see someone breach the Top 10 in a week or three.

UC Santa Cruz has the most drastic shift, going up 23 spots to #20. This is partly because we didn't take into account last week's results in last week's rankings. Our fault. But still the other thing is that we got to compare at least like opponents with Pac West rivals such as Fresno State and Chico State. For now the Banana Slugs are moving the fastest. Still Fresno State moves up 19 and Chico State moves up 18. Central Florida is currently creating some separation between themselves and the rest of the Florida league.

But we will keep an eye on there because this is a tough league to sweep. The travel alone makes that difficult. UCF takes on #30 Florida State this week. And remember that FAU and Florida are separated by a one-point result ... we might find reasons to put that result aside if FAU doesn't keep backing it up. 

Other games of note this coming week: Western Washington vs Oregon State, Houston vs Sam Houston State, Arizona State vs USD (if it happens), and, most interestingly for the rankings, we think ... Fresno State at Chico State.
