AIC Looks to Build on Empire Win at Armory 7s

A week after winning the 1st Empire 7s Series tournament, AIC will host their own Armory 7s with an eye toward qualifying for the USA Rugby College 7s Nationals.

NCRO Playoffs Latest

We’re down to one more regional semifinal after this past weekend’s Men’s NSCRO playoffs.

Mount St. Mary’s joined Southern Indiana and Eastern Connecticut State in the national semifinals.

MSM defeated North Florida 83-5 on Saturday and took down Duke 56-5 on Sunday to make it to the final four.

OT, Drama, Comebacks, and the Gold Coast

Cal State Long Beach won the Gold Coast Conference championship Sunday, but it wasn’t easy, and it almost didn’t happen.

After beating a very tough University of San Diego team on Saturday, the 49ers beat USC 38-36 on Sunday. That’s the short version, but the long version is much more dramatic.

DIA Playoff Picture Clears

With the California Conference all-but-clinched, the DIA playoffs have been settled with a little less than two weeks to go.

USA Rugby has instituted a couple of seeding rules. First off, as has always been the case, the top four (based on the D1A Rankings) conference champions get a bye to the quarterfinals and will host that quarterfinal.

Gaels Impressive in Win over Santa Clara

St. Mary’s took one big step toward winning the California Conference once more Saturday with a 100-24 defeat of Santa Clara.
