Going into Saturday’s NCR D1 final, St. Bonaventure and Queens had already faced off twice before; each had won a game, and the points scored were Bonnies 55, Royals 54.
Dramatic Ending as Tennessee Holds Off BGSU To Win NCR D1AA
Bowling Green and Tennessee completed an almighty tussle for the NCR D1AA title, and when the dust settled Tennessee had, somehow, pulled it out.
Coming in powerful and undefeated, the Volunteers were up against a BGSU Falcons side that had put their losses behind them, beaten the team they had lost to (Louisville), and soared to the final.
Dramatic Semis See Chicago, Vermont to D2 Final
It will be University of Chicago vs University of Vermont in the NCR D2 final.
Chicago played in a massively entertaining, back-and-forth game.
Longtime Rivals to Meet in D3 Final
It will be an all-MARC affair in the NCR D3 men’s final, after both Slippery Rock and Franciscan won their semifinals Friday in Houston.
Slippery Rock ran out to a 22-5 lead over New Mexico Tech and looked to once again be in position to win big.
