It took some doing but the DI Elite competition did get played, for the most part, and this weekend we get to see the semifinals.
Lindenwood and Life University both kept rolling in Mid-South Conference action, although in slightly different winning margins.

GRR's #2 Life University defeated #1 Lindenwood on the road in St. Charles, Mo. Saturday.
It wasn't really a surprise in that Life has only lost to Lindenwood once (albeit earlier this season) in 15s, and often plays very well at Lindenwood. This is what happened on Saturday night. Life came in girded for payback and edged Lindenwood 32-26.
Another couple of teams step into the fray in college rugby as the University of Arizona gets set to play Grand Canyon this weekend.
College rugby games are still few and far between as breaking out of COVID shutdowns and keeping everyone free from positive tests has been very difficult.
