CK McClatchy Defeated Sierra in Key Matchup
CK McClatchy defeated Sierra Foothills 52-26 Wednesday night in a game that decide who was top dog in the Sacramento conference of Northern California’s DI HS league.
Both teams came into the game unbeaten. McClatchy was 4-0 in league play and also finished 2nd in the Fullerton International Tournament, behind Santa Monica. Sierra Foothills was also 4-0.
Peninsula Green Keeps Winning
Peninsula Green continues to go from strength to strength in Northern California's DI Boys HS league, and finished the regular season undefeated after beating a tough North Bay team 43-12.
NorCal Premier Wraps - Danville 1st
The Northern California Varsity Premier regular season wrapped up Saturday with Danville defeating a tenacious Archbishop Riordan 49-26 and Mother Loda defeating Lamorinda.
NorCal DII HS Latest
The Cougar Rugby Club clinched the SacValley D2 Championship after defeating River City 55-15 this past Saturday.
The club went 4-0, joins Bullard (Central), Berkeley (Redwood), and De La Salle (Bay) as teams that have finished 4-0 and have clinched a conference title.
Jesuit Beats Solo
Jesuit High School Rugby finished league play in the Northern California Premier League with a 60-26 victory over the Solo Falcons, dropping the Falcons to 4-2 and pushing Jesuit to 5-1 and, for now, in 1st in the Northern California Varsity Premier.
