Great Lakes Conference Sets Fall Schedule
The Great Lakes Conference has (mostly) settled its schedule for this fall.
While the specific dates aren't confirmed (games might be on the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but haven't been confirmed as to the specific day). Week 1 is the weekend of September 11, and then Week 2 is the weekend of September 18, and so on.
Central Michigan Could Step Into Playoffs Void
It appears that Grand Valley State's place in the USA Rugby Men's DII playoffs will be taken by Great Lakes Conference #3 Central Michigan.
With GVSU unable to play because of a series of injuries and family issues that decimated their roster, and Bethel (the Great Lakes #2) not playing for some time and already hit hard with injuries, CMU has stepped in to fill the spot.

Grand Valley Leads Great Lakes Power Surge
Grand Valley State moved to 6-0 after beating Ferris State 46-3 as the top teams in the Great Lakes Conference all won fairly comfortably.
Bethel defeated Saginaw Valley State 68-5 to improve to 5-1, and Central Michigan defeated Calvin College 65-5.
