Lots of rugby to be played in Boys HS action this weekend.
The Danville Oaks took a while to get going, but once they got going, they went, as the defending NorCal Premier champs defeated Lamorinda 50-0 in the opening game of the lague season.
Elsie Allen backed up last week's win over Vacaville with an impressive 60-22 defeat of Bishop O'Dowd Saturday in Northern California DII action.
The Lobos got two tries and three conversions from TJ Salato against Vacaville in the 36-15 win, and then this week hammered the perennial contenders O'Dowd. No. 8 Joshua Kauvesi was superb, scoring four tries
Here are the matchups in Boys HS rugby this weekend.
Last weekend was rained out completely in Arizona, so this will be the opening weekend. We did check in with a couple of teams last week, but there's little to add right now.
Northern California's Boys Premier season gets underway with defending champs Danville taking on Lamorinda.
And while Lamo was 0-6 last season in league play and Danville 5-1, it's not necessarily going to be the mismatch you might expect.
