Mike Weir, DartmouthIn a tense 21-10 win over Army, Weir, playing flyhalf, set up the Big Green attack and also kicked two key penalty goals plus a conversion, and a well-taken long-range drop goal, to lead the way.
Dartmouth moves to #1 after beating Army, but will have to back that up to stay there.
Bowling Green is still in a strong position and there are some key games coming up in the Chesapeake that could shake up these rankings. Bowling Green vs U. Notre Dame, Clemson at Tennessee, and Salisbury at Rowan are all coming up this weekend.
Brown gets a move up after beating Yale.
Mount St. Mary's defeated Southern Virginia University 39-15 in a rescheduled game delayed until Monday, October 11.
SVU was just coming off a 19-14 win over Virginia Tech on Saturday.
The Red River kicks off after the teams in that conference have warmed up against teams in the Lonestar Conference.
