Ben Withey and Luke Geister-Jones, MinnesotaThe front-rowers led the effort up front as the Gophers edged Iowa State.
Joe Hamm, SyracuseThe Orangemen fullback scored two tries and led an impressive open field attack as Syracuse beat Binghamton.

Arkansas had put up 72 the week before, but against a tough Jayhawks defense they managed only 10, and that wasn’t enough.
