Coaches and observers have already put forth that idea, some within hours of hearing that USA Rugby has shut down the season. And there's no gray area here—the college rugby season is over.
D1A Rugby has announced that it will suspend play through the end of March.

Central Washington rode a huge second-half surge to beat Army 51-20 Wednesday afternoon in a meeting at Cal Maritime in Vallejo, Calif.
The result cemented CWU as a top-10 team, and virtually guaranteed a place in the D1A playoffs.
