This was a week of surprises in D1A, especially with Arkansas Sate beating Life University.
Several players, especially in the forwards, stood out to us.
Much happened in D1A Rugby over the weekend, and we've got a bit of a rundown for you.

Kutztown University dominated Air Force 43-0 to win the D1A Open 7s Qualifier in Las Vegas Saturday to book at spot in the D1A Collegiate 7s Championships to be held later this spring.
Arkansas State threw the Mid-South and D1A as a whole into some confusion with a 29-22 defeat of #1-ranked Life University.
The game was the Curt Huckaby Cup, played in honor of the man who founded the Arkansas State program and was a huge friend to rugby in the South.
Kutztown University and the Air Force Academy will face off this evening in Las Vegas in the final of the D1A 7s open qualifier.
Both teams survived very close semifinals to get there.
In pool play, Kutztown shut out New Mexico and Colorado and were pushed by Utah 26-14. Overall, though, outscoring pool opponents 120-14 sent a message.
