Cal was the only undefeated team after Day One of the PAC Rugby Conference 7s, as the Bears swept Pool A and Pool B came down, as predicted, to having three teams tied at 2-1.
The rosters for the PAC Rugby Conference 7s have been finalized.
The PAC Rugby Conference 7s tournament is set for Saturday and Sunday at the University of Arizona in Tucson.
Early on in the West Coast 7s at Treasure Island, Arizona was losing.
It was, in fact, the first game of the tournament for both Arizona and San Diego State, and at halftime, down 10-0, the Wildcats had to be wondering where they would end up in the pecking order.
As it turned out, the won the entire tournament.
The University of Arizona won the two-day West Coast 7s tournament at Treasure Island in San Francisco Sunday, beating Saint Mary’s in the final.
