GRR: Rocky Mountain
Mountain View and Rocky Mountain are battling each other until the bitter end in Rugby Idaho's girls 7s league.
It's 7s, so it's always unpredictable.
After a week off from competition because of smokey air thanks to regional wildfires, the Rugby Idaho girls HS 7s is back in action this week.
Monday, today, the JV girls return to the pitch with Rocky Mountain Purple and Mountain View HS both coming in with 2-0 records.
While smokey skies canceled this week's Rugby Idaho fall 7s, that gives everyone just a little bit more time for teams to figure out how to stop Rocky Mountain's seemingly unstoppable Kennedy Pabst.
The Rocky Mountain men’s D1A conference has officially delayed any rugby until the fall.
The conference, which includes Colorado, Colorado State, Utah Valley, Utah State, New Mexico, and Wyoming will look at what they can do in the spring. However, playing in the early spring is difficult for those schools because it can snow well into March, sometimes later.
