Berks County Rugby secured a thrilling comeback victory over Aspetuck to also win a Boys HS National Championship play-in Saturday in an intense match at Kutztown University's Andre Reed Stadium.
It was a good weekend for BC High Rugby as the Eagles beat Lincoln-Sudbury 70-7 on Friday and then took care of Aspetuck 43-14.
In Friday's match, prop and captain Mikey Smith scored two tries and the team in general did well to find space and work with good support lines.Eleven different Eagles scored tries.
Aspetuck defeated the Charlotte Cardinals to win the very competitive girls bracket at this past weekend's Gonzaga Classic.
Aspetuck entered the tournament having rolled through most of their opponents.

The Gonzaga Rugby Classic girls bracket is going to be a wild one with several highly-regarded teams in action.
Among those leading the way, Aspetuck has been enjoying an excellent season so far. They came away from the Southern Showcase with wins over West Carrol, Downingtown, and Wando in Elite Girls Rugby League action. In those games Aspetuck allowed just one try.
In a meeting of two top Connecticut sides, Aspetuck defeated Fairfield Prep 33-27 Monday evening.
Aspetuck overcame plenty of penalties to win the game, getting two tries from Jaden Seabrook and two also from Keane Horne.
Joel Garcia added a try, Jack Decker added a conversion, and Horne added three to make his personal haul 16.
