Last Week's Predictions - How We Did

Having made predictions on the DI college games last week (minus one or two), it seems only fair I should report the results.

Here's how I did:

North Texas Turns Heads

With their 75-6 defeat of Texas A&M, North Texas put their hand up, way up, in the Southwest Rugby Conference.

Sure, this was A&M's 2nd side as they run their 1st side in the Red River, but, still, 75-6 says something, and A&M Director of Rugby Craig Coates was highly complimentary of the Mean Green.

Lindenwood Handles Another Club

Lindenwood University made it three major men's clubs in a row as they beat the Glendale Raptors Saturday in St. Charles, Mo.

Sooners, Longhorns Win

Oklahoma and Texas are 2-0 in the Red River Conference after the Sooners scored half a hundred on Texas A&M, and the Longhorns defeated Baylor.

Texas beat Baylor 48-13, in a game that Head Coach Chris Hopps said was underwhelming.

“We were inconsistent with flashes of solid play,” said Hopps.

Big Ten Latest - Bunched at Top

Wisconsin lost but held onto 1st in the Big Ten, but the Badgers have three tough teams bearing down on them now.

In a tight, exciting game, Wisconsin were edged by Michigan 32-27.

Michigan took an early lead 3-0 thanks to captain Joel Conzelmann, but Ross Heginbottom equalized.
