Pen Green, Jesuit Enjoy Strong KOT Weekend
Peninsula Green rattled off six wins against one loss this past weekend at the Kickoff Tournament in Sacramento, but still found a formidable opponent in longstanding NorCal power Jesuit HS.
The results are a message that Pen Green could be a real player in the Northern California Premier.
Over 50 teams at Kickoff Tournament
Fifty-two teams will play in the Kickoff Tournament in Sacramento this weekend.
Run by Ray Schwartz, the two-day tournament is a massive event to get the season started for teams from all over Northern California plus a few from elsewhere. This is the 33rd time that the KOT has been held.

The Sacramento Amazons are looking to defend their girls national HS club title as the Rugby NorCal season looms
Known additionally as the Sacramento Police Athletic League team, the Amazons bring a ton of power to their game. This year, they’ve added a middle-school team to help feed the program.

Twelve high school rugby teams will compete in the HS Boys bracket of the Storer Classic, including some national contenders.
NorCal Premier HS League Gets Ready
The Rugby Northern California Boys Premier League is set to kick off in a few weeks, with 11 teams in action.
The league expanded from seven to 11 teams for this season, and with the expanded size split into two groups, one of six teams and one of five.
