National Youth 7s Kicks Off on Brilliant Friday

Overall we have to say the standard of play was excellent—kids knew what they needed to do; they could pass and catch and tackle; they were smart and exciting to watch. In some respects, such as the girls goalkicking, and teamwork in all brackets, the standard was better than college 7s we have seen.
Expanded National 7s Youth Championships Back for Third Year
The National 7s Youth Championships will return for its third year June 9-11, 2023 in an expanded form.
Held in Cleveland, Ohio, the tournament has, in its first two years, seen top U15 7s teams facing off over two days.
In 2022 Belmont Shore took the Girls Championship, while Tribe Rugby took the Boys Championship. The Tier II Boys was won by the Celina Legion.
National Sevens Youth Championships Set to Kick Off
The National Sevens Youth Rugby Championships is set to kick off Saturday, June 12, in Cleveland, Ohio.
Twenty-three U15 7s teams from all over the country will face off at the field of St. Ignatius HS.
The Boys Tier I bracket will see two pools of four teams.
Chuckanut U15s Dominate
The Chuckanut U15 boys team not only won the Washington State Games U15 Rugby 7s championship on Sunday, they clinched early and dominated the competition.
Chuckanut had the gold medal wrapped up well in advance of the final game, and coach Darin Hamm said that’s because of team unity.

Betsen Visit Highlights DC Youth 7s Tourney
The Maryland Exiles and the French International School of Bethesda, Md. (Lycée Rochambeau) are coming together to hold a 7s tournament on November 15.
The Yorktown Rugby 7s Tournament will have brackets for boys and girls U15s, U17s, and U19s.
