Riverside Reps SoCal in DII Semis

Saturday was a high stakes day in Albuquerque, N.M. The Southwest regional championship was to name its representatives to the DI and DII spring final four by day’s end. The division II teams received a bye through the Round of 16, so the berth to the spring semifinals rested on one game between UC Riverside and Texas State.

Florida Reps in DII South Regional

It’s going to be an all-Florida showdown in the South DII quarterfinal, as Florida International and South Florida proved their inconsistent matrix season didn’t affect their post-season potential. USF defeated South Carolina 32-22, while FIU bettered Alabama 27-10 in today’s Round of 16 matches.
