Girls Camp Kick-Starts 1st Life Women Season
In January 2014, Life University announced the addition of Women's Rugby as a varsity sport for the 2014-2015 school year. The success of the two men's rugby teams is well-documented, having won national championships in both the undergraduate intercollegiate division, and the men's club division. Adding women's rugby was a natural progression for Life U's expanding athletics department.
Still Room in Life U Girls Camp
Marietta, Ga. – For the fourth year in a row, the boy’s rugby camp at Life University has reached capacity.
Begun in 2010, the Life U rugby camps have been a tool to enhance the rugby skills and knowledge for high school age players; increase the awareness of rugby, especially in the southeast region; and served as a stepping stone for success at the college level.
Life Men Win Club Title
MADISON, Wisc. – The Life University Running Eagles won their second Men’s Division I Club Championship Saturday at the 2014 USA Rugby Emirates Airline Club National Championships with a 39-7 defeat of New Orleans Rugby Football Club.
