American International College slammed Boston College 72-21 to win the ECRC Conference Saturday.
AIC scored an early try busting the ball up the middle with the forwards, and quickly added tries out in the backs to lead 19-0. But after that, things settled down. Boston College scored a try, and seemed to clamp down on the Yellow Jackets through much of the first half.
Massive Clash as AIC Plays BC for ECRC
The ECRC Conference has come down to this weekend with 7-0 AIC facing off with 7-0 Boston College.
AIC was expected to be in this situation, showcasing a speedy, exciting team that can bring the grit up front. In fact, it might be the tight five of AIC that has impressed the most this season.
AIC to 7-0
The #2-ranked AIC Yellow Jackets defeated UMass 41-11 Friday night to move to 7-0 in the ECRC.
AIC had to really work to break through a tenacious UMass defense, but ultimately the Minutemen were beaten by a patient and very quick Yellow Jackets squad.
