Dashers, Crusaders Still Lead Wisc
The post-season is nearly upon the Wisconsin girls high school league, and out front, as usual, are Divine Savior Holy Angels (DSHA) and Catholic Memorial. The pair compete in different pools; however the Dashers got an inside look at their state rival during the Crusaders’ 67-0 win over the DSHA JV team last week.
Iowa 7s League Balloons in Size
For the second consecutive year, the Iowa Youth Rugby Association (IAYRA) has increased its girls league’s membership by more than 50%. The high school competition has added three new 7s teams – Lincoln, Roosevelt, Boone – and 60 new players to the fall season.

GHSAAs Overwhelm BC in Win
What a way to start the history books. The Girls High School All Americans (GHSAAs), powered by ATAVUS, played their first-ever 15s match and won 58-0 against the British Columbia U18s in Canada. While the provincial side never slacked in effort, the visitors dominated possession and aggression while the bench emptied during the 70-minute match.
Girls Stars & Stripes Announced
USA Rugby has announced the 50 girls high school players reporting to the 3rd annual Stars & Stripes assembly in Greeley, Colo. The players arrive tomorrow, July 21, and train together until Saturday, July 25, when a final match will be held. New Girls High School All American (GHSAA) coach Farrah Douglas will oversee the girls' camp.
