CWU Edges BYU Central Washington held off BYU 22-20 to improve to 3-4 in D1 Elite competition. BYU has had a tough time in the move up to D1 Elite, but it was a move that had to happen, and this result, on the road, was a good one for the Cougars.

The D1 Elite women's slate of games this past weekend resulted in two shutouts.
For Central Washington, the Wildcats defeated Grand Canyon 79-0 in Phoenix. Meanwhile, defending champions Lindenwood looked very impressive in a 27-0 defeat of longtime rivals Life University at Lindenwood's campus.
