The Pan-Am Games kicks off Friday in Santiago, Chile, with two USA teams facing two somewhat distinct goals.

As has been the habit for the last couple of tournaments, the Pan-American Games will be a testing ground for some younger players for the USA Men's 7s team in November.
The USA Men's 7s team has qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games after beating Canada 24-14 Sunday afternoon in Langford, BC.
The Eagles overcame a couple of big mistakes that helped Canada to their tries, but paced by the brilliance and leadership of captain Kevon Williams and plenty of hard work they were able to get home with the win in front of a vocally pro-Canada crowd.
Canada and the USA lead their pools in the Men's RAN 7s Qualifiers after Day One action.
The USA dominated their games 62-0 over Bermuda and 40-0 over Mexico.
