Coming out of Dubai the USA Men's 7s team has to be feeling frustrated.
The USA Men’steam ended their Dubai weekend winless and in last place.
This is a new team with a new coach and they played like it, showing ability, and pushing their opposition, but they were unable to put in a full 14 minutes. This wasn't for lack of effort, it was mostly for lack of experience.
It's important to remember that the USA men's 7s team is not only on a rebuilding course, but is rebuilding off a group that was on a rebuilding course.
Already it's clear that the PR7s All-Star Tournament was a massive success.
Putting PR7s All-Stars up against a provisional USA team was an important test for all of those players. This was especially true given that the PR7s All-Stars also had USA hopefuls on their squads.
For the men's teams, new USA Coach Simon Amor got a chance to see how young players competed.
