GRR: United
It's been a decade of major changes in high school rugby, but some things do remain the same, with a few teams dominating the landscape.
Here's a look at who gets our awards for the decade:
Herriman won the Utah Youth Rugby Boys Varsity fall 7s competition, taking the final two tournaments of the season.
Herriman had encountered plenty of trouble with United this fall, losing the final of the first tournament of the fall series to their rivals from Alpine, before edging United in the second tournament. It came down to the final of Round 3, and Herriman was 21-17.
Utah Youth Rugby's fall HS 7s season comes down to this weekend and there's plenty on the line.
United Boys won the opening tournament, beating Herriman 28-24 in the final. Herriman responded last week, beating United 24-21 in the final.
So this week's tournament decides who's on top.
Herriman used some big plays and a deep bench to come back from behind for a 34-25 victory over United, in a game that was yet another classic between the two teams in Utah Youth Rugby action.
Herriman came in to the game unbeaten on the season, while United has been riding high from several quality wins from a very experienced side.
The Annual Ra Puriri Invitational took place this weekend at Snow Canyon High School in St.
