SEATTLE, Wash. - Rugby Washington (Rugby WA) has announced the complete staff for the 2015-2016 Girls High School Loggers All-Stars program. Led by Head Coach Sharon Blaney, two-time World Cup USA Lock, the leadership group of Kellen Gordon, Carly MacKinnon, Marty Quick, and Carrie White will be looking to continue the development of the female rugby athletes in Washington State.
The Washington Loggers’ U14/15 Development squad completed a 4-0 sweep of four Canadian rep-sides during mini tour to British Columbia, August 6-9.
The squad of 22 promising U15-eligible boys opened their account defeating British Columbia’s 'C' team by a decisive 63-0 score, followed by a 55-0 success against Alberta’s 1st XV Rep Side.
The Chuckanut U15 boys team not only won the Washington State Games U15 Rugby 7s championship on Sunday, they clinched early and dominated the competition.
Chuckanut had the gold medal wrapped up well in advance of the final game, and coach Darin Hamm said that’s because of team unity.

The Kent Crusaders HS girls team ran the table in the Washington State Games rugby 7s competition, winning all of their games throughout the four-tournament season.
