Here are the matchups in Boys HS rugby this weekend.
Last weekend was rained out completely in Arizona, so this will be the opening weekend. We did check in with a couple of teams last week, but there's little to add right now.
The Katy Barbarians pulled off something of a small upset in the early going in Rugby Texas, with a preseason 29-22 victory over defending state champs Westlake.
We had a look at the past week, and a couple of weeks before, and give you our list of players who made an impact for their HS teams in recent days.

The Thunder hooker helped drive the forward effort in Carlsbad's run to 3-0.
