Royal Irish scored on the final play of the game to defeat Rugby Indiana Super League rivals Penn HS 15-12 Saturday.
Royal Irish led 8-5 in a typically low-scoring game between these two teams made more so by the hard rain.
Penn HS went to 2-0 in Rugby Indiana's Super League with a 37-8 defeat of Brownsburg.
Penn got two tries from Will Vakalahi and also tries from Blake Usenick, Lucas Robinson, Cedric Vakalahi, Rashid Fahim, and Paul. Sam Scholtes had one conversion.
Penn HS and Royal Irish started the Rugby Indiana Super League on a winning note, as once again the league of four ranked teams kicks off.
Royal Irish played two games, one in-league and one not, beating Brownsburg 25-10 and then on Sunday defeating Ohio-based Archbishop Moeller School 41-9.
It was a good weekend for the defending HS club NIT champs.
