GRR: Notre Dame College
Bowling Green and Notre Dame College will face off for the DIAA championship at Furman University the weekend of December 3 as both teams won very close semis Sunday.
Four teams are left in the Men's DIAA College playoffs after Saturday's results; here's a rundown:
Notre Dame College rode a smart forward effort and a dynamic backline all the way to the 2015-16 DIAA final last season, only to be outdone by unexpectedly wet weather, and a UC Davis team with an excellent game plan.
USA Rugby has released the Men's College DIAA fall playoff bracket, after some time negotiating and working with various issues within the conferences.
Eight teams will participate, and seeds are as follows:
1. Notre Dame College - Notre Dame College Over Lindenwood-Belleville
Notre Dame College defeated Lindenwood-Belleville 34-17 Saturday morning in Lamont, Ill. in a clash of two very good independent DIAA teams.
