Mount St. Mary's is seeking a new Head Coach for its women's NCAA Varsity rugby program.

With Farrah Douglas moving on, MSM is seeking a replacement for this full-time position.

The successful candidate will need to be knowledgeable of NCAA, MAAC, NIRA, USARugby, and University rules and regulations, including recruiting compliance.

Mount St. Mary's defeated Mary Washington in a non--league spring game that is part of a small trend toward playing more 15s after the New Year for fall-centric programs.

Both college teams have voiced a desire to keep 15s front and center event after the fall, citing the desire to keep more players involved, and also to help more of the players develop their 15s skills.

Dartmouth wo big over Mount St. Mary's to join Harvard at 4-0 in the NIRA D1 league.

The Big Green women have changed up their approach a little bit, focusing on more of a kicking game and having the talent to execute it, and they followed on from a very good performance over Army a week ago to race past Mount 79-0.

Sacred Heart welcomed Princeton into the NCAA rugby sorority with an emphatic 53-21 defeat of the Tigers.

Alyssa Cunningham logged 19 points on seven conversions and a try, while Fabiola Millien-Faustin touched down twice in a solid team effort for Sacred Heart. Millien-Faustin's first try took less than three minutes to score and the Pioneers led 31-0 at halftime.

Mount St. Mary's took top honors in the 2nd leg of the Chesapeake Conference 7s series, beating Kutztown 19-14 in the final.

After finishing 2nd last week and 1st this week, MSM is now atop the conference leaderboard with a record of 8-1-1, just ahead of Mary Washington.
