Plenty of Talent in West Coast 7s
The West Coast 7s kicks off on Saturday and will be the first serious run-out in college 7s for almost all of the 12 teams participating, and they are teams that have high expectations through the season.
Cal is the #1 seed, with UCLA #2, Arizona State #3, Cal Poly #4, and Arizona #5. (The seeds were voted on by the participating coaches.)

The West Coast Collegiate Tournament begins fall 7s competition in California with a compelling tournament Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Cal Poly State University.
CWU, ASU Show Well at WWU 7s
College 7s on the West Coast got started in Bellingham, Wash., as 16 teams played in the Western Washington University 7s Saturday, with Central Washington emerging as cup winners.
BYU Wins 7s Tournament
BYU won the Cougar 7s Invitational over Utah Saturday.
Both BYU and Utah ran out two teams in the event, with BYU A sweeping pool play in beating Utah Valley, Weber State, and Utah’s B side. Utah’s A squad defeated Dixie State, Idaho State, and BYU B to win their pool.
BYU A got by BYU B in the semis while Utah defeated UVU.
