Men's college rugby is still going, although the number of games is dwindling—at least we have two major matchups to brighten up the weekend.

While it's difficult to put Saturday's Saint Mary's vs Cal result in context, it's hard to ignore a 32-14 scoreline in favor of the Gaels.
Saint Mary's took it to Cal Saturday, beating their Northern California rivals 32-14 Saturday in the second game either of these two teams have played since March of 2020.
The Gaels were able to bring back a couple of players who didn't play in last week's win over Central Washington, and despite having trouble in the lineout just found more space to exploit.

Berkeley, Calif. – In the first meeting of these two highly-regarded collegiate rugby programs since the 2016 Varsity Cup final, Cal defeated BYU 37-28 Saturday at Cal's Witter Rugby Field.
This was the first rugby game for Cal in almost 400 days, while BYU was coming off a tie with Central Washington and a defeat of Utah State.
