The USA South Panthers held a well-attended weekend camp Feb 4-5 with a total of 98 boys and girls looking to be selected for one of several South all-star teams to play this year.
The USA Men’s National 7s team put together some good performances and some iffy performances at the Sydney 7s, and ultimately finished 6th in Australia.
The Eagles beat Argentina and Canada on Day One in one of the tougher pools of the tournament, but then lost to a Russian team they really should have beaten.
The Sydney 7s women showcased the seven best players in their Dream Team.
The USA, which finished 2nd to Canada in the tournament, has two players in this feature (if you don't see the embedded video, please refresh the page).
The USA Women's 7s team turned everything around this weekend, improving from an 11th-place finish in Dubai to a 2nd-place finish in Sydney.
