Ohio State University defeated Lindenwood-Belleville to take the Mooseman 7s at Middle Tennessee State University Saturday.
Two All-Star organizations, USA Rugby South and the Tennessee Tri-Stars, will combine efforts to form nine teams for the Las Vegas Invitational next week.
After months of camps and events the teams are set for the LVI 7s tournaents that will begin Thursday, March 2. The South/Tri-Stars contingent will include over 100 players and a touring party of about 300.
Three college 7s tournaments are set for this weekend, and perhaps the interesting thing to note is that it wasn't that long ago that these sorts of tournaments were begging teams to show ... now they're packed.
