After winning the London 7s and gaining a berth in the 2016 Olympics a few weeks later, USA Men’s 7s Coach Mike Friday said that those accomplishments were nice, but they were just steps to bigger prizes.

This weekend the Halloween 7s is held at Al Lang Stadium in St. Petersburg, Fla., bringing some elite-level teams from around the USA and abroad.
Herriman Still Unbeaten in Utah HS 7s
The Herriman boys rugby program’s Gold team ran its record to 18-0 in the Fall 7s series by winning its third straight tournament.
Cal Dominates in Autumn 7s
Can won the Autumn 7s Saturday on Witter Rugby Field, beating Cal Poly, 36-7, to finish the day 4-0.
Cal also ran out a squad of freshmen and sophomores, and that group impressed, sweeping its pool and taking the Plate with a 43-0 defeat of San Francisco State.
