Brown Women Top All in CRC 7s Four champions were crownd Sunday in the Women's CRC 7s in Maryland. D1 Premier Brown repeated as women's CRC Premier champions, downing Army in a close one 12-5 n the final. This was the second straight year those two had battled it out in the CRC final. Kate Muldoon set up Sorensen finalist Akilah Cathey for the opening try as Cathey powered through tackles to score.
CRC Men's Finals: Wheeling Dominates, and More Wheeling University sped their way to the CRC Men's Premier title Saturday night, racing past Kutztown, 29-10. Kutztown had made the final with a snappy combination of ball movement, physical defense, and power running. They beat Southern Nazarene 30-7, Dartmouth 28-12, and Michigan to make the semis.
