Over 60 D1-level college teams are playing this weekend.
Some of these games are hugely important conference matchups—Texas A&M at Baylor on Friday evening, Bowling Green vs Cincinnati, Iowa at Iowa State (!). Some are still quote-unquote warmups.

CRAA D1AA Sevens Day 2: Bobcats Win
St. Thomas won the CRAA D1AA 7s championship to cap off a 15s-7s double repeating the feat accomplished by U. San Diego in 2022.
The Bobcats won the tournament on Sunday thanks to some overtime drama in the semis and then put it all together to win 42-12 over Iowa.

Lawrence, Kans. hosts the tournament with 12 teams in three pools of four, with teams from eight states and from five conferences.
