Girls HSAAs to Vancouver
VANCOUVER (USA Rugby Release) – The USA Rugby Girls High School All-Americans powered by ATAVUS are in British Columbia, Canada, this week for their first competitive rugby of the year at the Vancouver Rugby Festival.
USA Rugby Names Women Age-Grade Pool
BOULDER, Colo. – USA Rugby has announced an age-grade pool of 38 women players that were identified at the winter National All-Star Competition in Lakeland, Fla., as well as the various 2015 tours. The age-grade coaches have identified the players they believe have a strong chance to become Eagles and play in World Cups and Olympics.
GHSAA Camps Set Stage for 2016
CASA GRANDE, Ariz. – The USA Rugby Girls High School All-Americans powered by ATAVUS will hold an East Winter Camp Feb 12-15 at the National Training Center in Clermont, Fla. following up on last month's West Winter Camp at the Casa Grande Sports Academy in Arizona.
Women Eagle Pathway Changes
USA Rugby has announced changes in the pathway for the national women's teams.
The idea, said the organization in an announcement, is toe "accelerate player development for international competition."
Meet the Players: All Americans in Las Vegas
The Girls High School All American (GHSAA) program is nearly three years old, but it hasn’t played any real competition. During the previous two summers, Stars & Stripes camps drew the top 50 players from around the country to Colorado, where the attendees experienced a high-performance environment for a week.
