Indiana - Wins for Royal irish, Penn
Penn HS and Royal Irish started the Rugby Indiana Super League on a winning note, as once again the league of four ranked teams kicks off.
Royal Irish played two games, one in-league and one not, beating Brownsburg 25-10 and then on Sunday defeating Ohio-based Archbishop Moeller School 41-9.
It was a good weekend for the defending HS club NIT champs.

Penn dominated, as expected, with their Varsity, JV, and Freshman teams going 5-0. The Kingsmen scored 251 points while allowing 18 in the five games.

Penn Just Gets By St. Ignatius

St. Ignatius led much of the game and held a 14-5 lead into the midpoint of the second half. But then Dan Afa'ese scored a try for Penn, and then Sam Scholtes nudged Penn ahead 15-14 with a penalty goal with about four minutes to go.
Penn Unbeaten at Lindenwood Tourney
Penn HS ran the table in the Lindenwood High School tournament held at Lindenwood University, St. Charles, Mo. this weekend.
The tournament was a good kickoff for teams in the Midwest, and mercifully, it wasn’t a snow-fest like last year.
Eight programs entered varsity teams, while six also entered JV teams. Indiana-based Penn won both brackets, not losing a game.
