The LA 7s is back, to be held March 5-6. The USA stop for the women's circuit is not back. The Women's World Series expands to seven tournaments, with only one, Langford BC being a stand-alone event with no associated men's tournament.
USA Women Make One Change for Fast Four Edmonton
EDMONTON, Alb.—Alena Olsen replaces Nia Toliver as the USA Women’s Sevens compete in Fast Four Edmonton, a four-team invitational held alongside the men’s HSBC Canada Sevens.
The competition runs Saturday, September 24 to Sunday, September 25 at Commonwealth Stadium.

The USA Women's 7s outing in Vancouver was small, but a baby step toward the next chapter.
The Eagles beat Canada twice, by the same 22-12 score in fact, and slammed Mexico (who, unfortunately weren't able to score a point all weekend), but could not get past Great Britain, losing 41-12 in Pool Play and 34-12 in the final.
