Life Wins Barnburner D1 Elite Final on Late Kick In a wild barnburner of a D1 Elite final, Life University somehow got by Lindenwood to win their first-ever Women's D1 Elite Championship. These two teams had been in the final against each other five previous times—every final since the 2017-18 season (2020 was COVID-canceled), and Lindenwood has prevailed each time. Early on it appeared we would see the same result.
Lindenwood Holds Off Tenacious CWU in D1 Elite
Lindenwood beat Central Washington and BYU beat Grand Canyon in the latest action in D1 Elite Women.
With the win, Lindenwood joins CWU and Life with two wins, but Lindenwood has no losses and has defeated both of those other two-win teams. BYU improved to 1-1.
