BERKELEY – Cal racked up 16 tries Saturday in a 100-17 win over Arizona State on Witter Rugby Field.
Sione Sina and Harry Adolphus both had hat tricks as California (8-1, 2-0 PAC) took sole possession of first place in the PAC Rugby Conference.
Utah Shocks UCLA
The University of Utah made a huge statement Saturday with a 38-0 shutout of UCLA in Los Angeles Saturday in the weekend's on PAC Rugby Conference game.
The Utes were strong up front and with Danny Christensen leading the offense from scrumhalf and with Tonata Lauti causing problems all day long, UCLA was summarily humbled by the result.
