D1 Elite Postseason Set, With A Surprise

We are set for the D1 Elite women's college playoffs and the extra good news is that there's a new player in the game.

After having been unable to play any games during the comeback from the COVID lockdowns, Penn State University might ... might ... be able to get a game in to start the postseason.

Six D1A men's college teams were in action Saturday along with two other D1 programs as we saw some movement in the Mid-South and a bit of a surprise result in Washington state.

Wild Day In D1 Elite

It was a day of two very different games in women’s D1 Elite, but in the end we know who the top two are going into the playoffs.

Lindenwood slammed BYU 77-5 in a game that saw the Lions rest one or two of their more experienced players and still log almost a point a minute.

Life Men Upend #1 Lindenwood

GRR's #2 Life University defeated #1 Lindenwood on the road in St. Charles, Mo. Saturday.

It wasn't really a surprise in that Life has only lost to Lindenwood once (albeit earlier this season) in 15s, and often plays very well at Lindenwood. This is what happened on Saturday night. Life came in girded for payback and edged Lindenwood 32-26.
