Gonzaga Takes Down Indisciplined Vienna
Gonzaga defeated Vienna this weekend in a clash of the #5 school team and the #29 HS club.
The game itself was rough on Vienna as a red card and general indiscipline undercut their performance. Too many errors also didn't help as Gonzaga was more cohesive and put together and eventually won out 35-15.

In a stormer of a game that certainly lived up to its billing, St. Ignatius of Cleveland defeated Gonzaga of Washington DC 38-26 in a crossover match in Morgantown, WV.

Gonzaga's defensive effort was very strong, and it had to be as Xavier threatened to score several times and camped out on the Gonzaga tryline for about eight minutes.

Gonzaga High School played its first official game Wednesday, running into a more seasoned Georgetown Prep side and coming away with a 26-26 tie.
High School Programs Inch Their Way Back
High School rugby may be returning in the field this spring, at least in some areas.
Of course states are varied in how they have dealt with high school sports, and with some football or soccer seasons being bumped to the spring, other sports, such as rugby, have had to adjust.
