West Coast 7s Pools, Schedule Set
The West Coast 7s has confirmed its pools and schedule for the tournament to be held October 19-20 on Treasure Island in San Francisco.
The event is one of the bigger men's college sevens tournaments of the fall. Last year, Cal won the tournament over UCLA, while Arizona finished 3rd after almost beating Cal in the semis.
A Closer Look at Arizona's West Coast 7s Win
Early on in the West Coast 7s at Treasure Island, Arizona was losing.
It was, in fact, the first game of the tournament for both Arizona and San Diego State, and at halftime, down 10-0, the Wildcats had to be wondering where they would end up in the pecking order.
As it turned out, the won the entire tournament.

The West Coast 7s has confirmed the dates for this falls tournaments, with two events in October.

Cal won the West Coast 7s in impressive style this weekend, going 4-0 and outscoring opponents 142-26 (Cal Wins West Coast 7s)
Arizona State took 2nd and Arizona 3rd, while San Diego State won the Plate, and Southern California the Bowl.

Cal Wins West Coast 7s
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif.(Cal Rugby Release) - The University of California defeated Arizona DState 53-0 in the final of the West Coast 7s to win the tournament Saturday at the Cal Poly Sports Complex, going 4-0.
