NCR Releases Men's D1 Preseason Power Rankings
National Collegiate Rugby has put out its preseason Men's D1 College power rankings.
This, of course, is a guess given that many teams haven't played much rugby at all since the fall of 2019. However, the committee of voters (GRR is not involved in this) have done their best to list the top 10 D1 NCR teams.
Here goes:
NCR Names Scholastic All Americans
National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) has named 107 student athletes as 2020-21 Scholastic All Americans.
The 2020-21 group represents NCR’s inaugural naming of Scholastic All Americans. The program will become an annual recognition of NCR’s high performing student athletes, and is expected to grow as rugby clubs return to a normal schedule in 2021-22.

The question of what to do when some college rugby teams are part of National Collegiate Rugby and some are part of USA Rugby-aligned groups like the ACR has been brought into sharp relief in the NCRC.
NCR Opens Registration for 2021-22 Season
(NCR Press Release)—National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) has opened registration for the 2021-22 season on August 2.
Registration will be available for NCR clubs, players and coaches, as well as referees.
Allegheny College Conference Looks to Fall 2021
The Allegheny Collegiate Conference has set its schedule for its Men's D2 and Men's Small Co0llege divisions.
The two conferences cross over occasionally, with school-supported Robert Morris and the new varsity program, Rio Grande, both small-college programs, also testing itself against some D2 teams.
